Days and Times
We are currently shifting to training in the park through the summer. Dates and times are TBD, please contact me to get on the Signal group for more information.
How Much Does it Cost
Summer classes in the park are free classes with the option to donate. All donations go towards equipment costs and overheads for putting the class together. Your donations are greatly appreciate and help me to make this free venture more feasible to continue long term.
Who Can Take Class
New students can take any class without any experience. Classes are structured such that they are perfect for a brand new student or someone with lots of training already.

Classes are for adults or teenagers of all genders and over 15 years old. You must be able to perform some moderate exercise like jogging and getting down and up from the ground. You must be able to make physical contact with other people and performing stressful drills. If you have an injury or physical limitation, it is your job to know your limits and decide if you can participate.

What to Wear and Bring
-
THIS IS NOT A TALKING CLASS, WE WILL BE MOSTLY ENGAGED IN PHYSICAL EXERCISE THE WHOLE CLASS.
-
Wear or bring comfortable clothes that you can workout in and sweat in. Wearing a shirt that you don't mind getting roughed up is a good idea, especially as we are training on grass through the summer. There is no changing area at the park, but there should be bathrooms on site for your needs. You might want a dry shirt to change into after class.
-
We will be training on grass so wearing sneakers for that is a good idea .
-
You do not need any gear for your class, however:
-
If you have a sports mouth-guard, bring it. Everyone should have a mouth-guard with them if they decide to take classes beyond the intro class. We are not hitting each other in the face but our drills are physical and it only takes one accidental knock to chip your teeth.
-
If you gloves for punching, bring them. We have some gloves for people to use until they can get their own, but you will want your own ASAP for hygiene and a custom fit that prevents injuries.
-
If you have groin protection, wear it. We will not be aiming to kick each other in the groin, but we simulate strikes there and accidents do happen under stress. If you have male body parts, groin protection is essential for regular training, I never step into a Krav Maga gym without it.
-
-
Bring water and maybe towel. We will sweat, this is a physical class.
